Jack M. Manotti

Jack M. Manotti, 70 of Pequea passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 5, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital following surgery. Born in Lancaster on August 26, 1953, he was the son of the late William and Della Stoltzfus Manotti. Jack was the husband of Eva M. Dull Manotti, sharing over 30 years of companionship with each other. Jack graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1972. He retired from the IBEW 743, Electrical Union in 2015, where he worked his way up to general foreman. Most of his time was working with the E.L. Heim Company as a subcontractor at Kellogg's. Jack was very proud of being clean and sober for over 35 years. He thoroughly enjoyed life, whether he was helping others or volunteering at many of the clubs he was a member of. Jack was adventurous, loving the outdoors, boating, hunting, traveling and walking his dog. He spent many hours on the water, boating and being an active member of Pequea Boat Club and the OBC, where he served as secretary. Jack was a long time member of Green Hill Sportmen's Association where he served as trustee. He competed in many cornhole tournaments and enjoyed golfing, most recently at Crossgates in the senior league. He was always tinkering around with something. Jack loved living on Trolley Road in Martic Township and raising his family there. He was always working to make the "lane" better. Jack served on the board of the Pequea Water Co-op. Jack was a devoted husband and father and will be deeply missed by his wife, Eva; son, Michael C. Manotti and daughter, Tara M. Manotti, companion of Alexandros Pitsinelis. He was able to welcome his first grandson, Thimios M. Pitsinelis into the world last month. Jack loved his dog, Toby and his granddog, Lucy. Jack is also survived by his brother, William, husband of Penny Manotti of Lancaster, his mother in law, Margaret Ritter of Lancaster and his grand niece, Kinsley Y. Dull. Jack was preceded in death by his sister and brother in law, Janice and Ray Durkaj. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Celebration of Jack's Life on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2PM from the Green HIll Sportsmen's Association, 6199 River Road, Conestoga.
