Michael P Dilley

The world lost a great husband, father, brother, and friend on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, Michael Paul Dilley age of 52 of Wrightsville. Born in Binghamton, NY on June 3rd, 1971, son of Robert Alvin Dilley and Donna Lee Smith. He was the husband of Amy Cain Dilley, with whom he married on May 9, 2009. He was a graduate of Damen University in New York, obtaining his license in 1994 and has impacted countless lives throughout his career as a Physical Therapist, whom previously specialized in advanced wound care. Most recently he has served as the director of rehabilitation services at the Mennonite Home, after touching many lives for years at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown. He also empowered patients and staff alike at Country Meadows and Lancaster Regional Medical Center, along with numerous other facilities during his 25 plus years of pursuing his passion to help others. Anyone that knew Michael would tell you when you saw him, he would be sporting a Phillies shirt, often at a Sunday afternoon game making memories with his family. He loved sports of all kinds, rarely missing a Bengals football game, a Chelsea soccer match, or a Rangers hockey game. He has passed his love of golf on to his two oldest sons. The many pictures snapped making memories with friends and family at the family bay home in Earleville, MD and Hilton Head Island for yearly vacations will be cherished forever. His pride and joy were always his spouse Amy Cain Dilley, and six amazing children Aaron, Ashley, Jared, Nicholas, Samantha, and Alexandra. He is also survived by his father, Robert A. Dilley of Austin, TX; his mother, Donna L. Dilley of Ithaca, NY and his sisters, Lynda, wife of Jay Steller of Hummelstown and Kim, wife of Ronald Babuka of Ithaca, NY. Nieces and nephews include Allyson Dengler, Katherine and Jack Babuka, and Trent Steller. Family and friends are respectfully invited to Michael's Celebration of Life on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1PM from the Brossman Ball Room, Salon One, Freemasons Cultural Center, 77 Freemason Drive, Elizabethtown with Pastor Robert Garvey officiating. Friends will be received at the Ball Room on Thursday from 11:30AM to 1PM.
