Becky Sue Kauffman

June 27, 1965 - October 5, 2018

BECKY S. KAUFFMAN Mother, wife, sister, daughter, teacher, co-worker…..friend, Becky S. Kauffman of Millersville. On October 5th, 2018, we mourned, we cried, we remembered. Becky was a fiercely strong individual. She waged a physical battle, bravely, without tears, independently. She never looked back and has been a loving example of courage for her son, Toby Chanz Singer. Toby was her purpose; she held him, nurtured him, encouraged and molded him into the young man he has become. She was tough yet gentle. Her passion was life – from her green thumb to her love of animals. Married to Brad Singer, they were to celebrate their vows this coming week. Younger sister of Pamela J. Breneman (Don), Parke Kauffman (Mary Jane) and Charlie Kauffman. Becky could prove stubborn, which never detracted from the love of family. Her parents, Chub and Eva Ressler Kauffman enjoyed having her “just up the street” and have always been there as she was for them. A teacher of special needs children, Becky went into the classroom early and stayed late. It was all about the kids. Over the years, she bonded with so many that she worked with; a family of teachers and support staff in both the Hempfield and Penn Manor School Districts. And friend… she was a text or call away! She knew how to listen and weigh in; not always providing the response wanted, but you definitely knew where Becky was coming from. Today, we celebrate Becky, yet we still cry. Becky S. Kauffman has become a part of us. She will continue to inspire and encourage us to grow. We are all better for being touched by her love. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Becky's memory may be made to Pennsylvania SOCA Lancaster Center, 848 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603 or The Loft, 3116 Blue Rock Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603 For further information please call 717-872-1779 or to submit an online condolence visit www.melaniebscheidfh.com.
