Jose Luis Burgos Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jose Luis Burgos, 58 of Lancaster passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born on May 2, 1963 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Eduardo Burgos and Margarita Cruz. He was the husband of Maria Torres. Jose worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, playing pool and dominos. He liked watching National Geographic TV channel. He loved helping people and being hospitable. He had a good sense of humor, good heart and loved to joke around. Jose will be missed by his wife, Maria; his mother, Margarita of Lancaster; son, Jose Luis Burgos, Jr.; daughters, Wilma Burgos, Nohely Burgos, Keila Burgos and Maritza Burgos, all of Lancaster. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashylin, Leahnexie, Arianie and Keilee; brothers, Benjamin, Eduardo, Alberto and Nelson Burgos and sisters, Carmen Maldonado, Maria Rivera, Rosa Burgos, Miriam Burgos and Wilma Burgos. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jose' funeral service on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1PM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 317 E. Orange Street, Lancaster with Pastor Luis Ramos officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10AM to 1PM. Interment will be held in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
