Juan Ramon Medina Santana, 56 of Lancaster passed away at home Friday morning, November 6, 2020. Born on December 25, 1963 in Yabucoa, PR, he was the son of the late Antonio Medina and Francisca Santana of Puerto Rico. Juan had worked for Lancaster Leaf years ago. He loved to scrap metal and collect junk. Juan is survived by his mother, Francisca; one daughter, Francisca Medina of Lancaster and his siblings, Luis Medina, Digna Medina, Delia Medina, Irma Medina, Lydia Medina, Carmen Medina, Maribel Flores, Fernando Medina and Nelson Medina and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Antonio, Pablo, Luz Maria, Margarita, Ramonita, Isabel, Benjamin and Roberto Medina. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Juan's funeral services on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2PM with Javier Ortiz officiating from the funeral home. Friends will be received at the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 317 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday evening, November 10, 2020 from 5 to 7PM and on Wednesday from 1 to 2PM. Interment will be held in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
