Juan Quinones, Sr., 78 of Lancaster passed away Tuesday morning, December 8, 2020 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. Born on December 17, 1941 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Claudino Quinones and Candida Robles. He was the beloved husband of Olga Rosado Quinones. Juan attended Agape FCC in Lancaster. He retired from Colonial Metals and had previously worked for Buck Iron. He loved his family and loved to joke around and be the life of the party. He was an avid Eagles fan, classic car enthusiast and loved to spoil his grandchildren with candy. Juan will be deeply missed by his wife, Olga; son, Juan Quinones, Jr., husband of Victoria of Lancaster; daughters, Maggie Quinones of Leola and Zulma Quinones, companion of Jose Rubert of Lancaster, along with his grandchildren, Orlando, Xavier, Ricardo, Jonathan, Miguel, Joel, Jinelly, Jiovanni, Jordanny and Jayden and 13 great grandchildren. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Juan's funeral services on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11AM from the Melanie B. Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, 317 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, Pastor Luis Figueroa officiating. Friends will be received on Friday evening from 6 to 8PM and from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
